How to Stop The Itch of Jock Itch
Jock Itch occurs from wearing wet underwear and wet clothing. The dampness usually comes from sweating and staying in sweaty clothes for a long period of time. Jock Itch affects the insides of the thighs, buttocks and other "private parts". Jock Itch is a very itchy, red rash. There are some remedies to ease the itch of Jock Itch.

Soak in a bathtub with warm water ad about 1 ½ cups of salt. Dissolve the salt in the bath water before getting in. Sit in the bathtub for about 30 minutes. Be sure to dry the affected areas well. Always pat the skin dry, do not rub dry or dry off using a blow dryer on a cool setting. Be sure you are thoroughly dry before getting dressed.

Swab the affected area with a 50-50 mix of water and apple cider vinegar. Mix ¼ of a cup of cool water with ¼ of a cup of apple cider vinegar, dip a clean gauze pad in the mixture and wipe the affected areas. Apply 3 to 4 times per day. Always use a new clean gauze pad with each application.

Keep yourself dry. Change out of sweaty clothes and wet bathing suits as soon as possible. Wear cotton underwear to absorb sweat. Powder yourself with cornstarch to keep moisture away from your skin.
