Things You'll Need:
- A 2-liter plastic bottle
- An awl or sharp-tipped knife
- Uncoated wire

Step 1
Assemble your materials.
Get your wire, knife/awl and bottle together, and lay them out so that they are within easy reach. -
Step 2
Where the hole should beUsing your awl or knife, poke a small hole in the neck of the bottle, as close to the cap as possible. Light should be able to pass through, but liquid should only come through in droplets.

Step 3
Make two holes hereUsing your knife of awl, make two holes in the bottom of the bottle across from each other. They can be made in the very bottom of the bottle where the plastic is thicker and stronger.

Step 4
String wire through the holes and make it long enough to string around a tree limb.

Step 5
Fill with nectar and hand from a tree limb in your garden.
