Things You'll Need:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Small flat head screwdriver
- Super glue
-
Step 1
Remove the two screws and take the back off of your camera. You will also want to take off the lens assembly but don't remove the yellow wire. Be very careful that you don't scratch the lens while doing this.
-
Step 2
Remove the two screws that are located on both sides of the shutter and lift your shutter out carefully. Move the aperture arm out of your way. Use your small flat head screwdriver to pry out the aperture ring but be careful not to bend it.
-
Step 3
Move the aperture switch to the sunny position. Place the ring over the top of the lens hole and make sure that it is centered. Apply a little super glue to it.
-
Step 4
Allow your camera to dry in a safe place. It's a good idea to allow it to dry overnight if at all possible. This way you can be sure that it is completely dry.
-
Step 5
Put the shutter back on your camera and screw it back into position. Now put the lens back into your camera and screw your camera together. You will now have two working aperture settings.
