BURN ME!

Easy to follow steps on how to burn a cd/dvd.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • pc with burning capabilities
  • cdrw or dvdrw disc
  • windows media center
  • burning software/program
  1. Step 1

Make sure your pc can burn things. A DVD/CD Read-write drive.

  2. Step 2

Buy discs that are Readable and Writeable.

  3. Step 3

If you only have one disc drive you must save the music or movie file to your pc. Save it where you can find it, create a file.

  4. Step 4

Next, you then put in the blank cd/dvd and burn it using a program or burning software. Windows media center has a rip/burn option click on it and find your file to burn and click ok. BEWARE, some DVD's are encrypted which you will not be able to burn without some encryption software. LG makes a good one that is pretty inexpensive.

  5. Step 5

If you have a dual disc tray simply play the movie, initiate a burning program or software, play the original disc in the read tray and the writeable disc in the burn tray labeled(r/w). Start the program and waalah!! You have a burned dvd/cd. Use only 4-8x the speed while burning to avoid distortion.

  6. Step 6

It might take a few trials before you get it right. Just keep trying. Don't do anything else on the net while trying to burn as this can interfere with the process and cause distortion.
