Hopefully, you have a neat checkerboard pattern of tiles on the floor or walls of your retro bathroom. This is a great backdrop for any look. Dig through yard sales and antique stores for great black and white pieces to accent your bathroom's look and create a style all your own.

Hang black and white solid towels in your bathroom. Place the black towels on the bottom, and put the white towels on top. If you have a little extra money, get the white towels monogrammed with black lettering for a very bold, but classy look.

Use accent pieces throughout the bathroom to mute the pink color. Use black candle holders with white candles to create mood lighting while bathing.

If you are up for a challenge, find a vintage crystal chandelier to place in the ceiling instead of the lighting already in the bathroom. This may take some time but will really make your bathroom have an old Hollywood glamour feel to it.

Instead of putting your toiletries on the counter, find black and white boxes to decorate with, and place the toiletries inside them. This not only reduces clutter but is a great way to decorate and store all at the same time.

Tips & Warnings
Watch old movies for ideas on how Hollywood decorates their sets in the 1940s and 1950s. If any of these movies have been re-edited in color, they might be more helpful than the black and white.
Any theme can be taken too far. Remember, less is more, especially if your bathroom already feels overwhelming with color. Lean more towards the neutrals to mute out loud colors, if necessary.
