Things You'll Need:
- Plastic store-bought headband, white White and pink felt White pipe cleaners Hot glue gun
-
Step 1
Fold your white felt in half so that you can cut through two layers at once. Trace a bunny ear shape onto the felt, twice, so that you have four white ear shapes.
-
Step 2
Fold your pink felt in half to cut through two layers at once. Lay your white ear shape on top of it and trace around it. Now cut out the pink ear about 1/2 inch inside your traced line, so that it is smaller than the white cut-out.
-
Step 3
Center the pink ear over a white ear and use a hot glue gun to fasten it. Repeat with the second pink ear.
-
Step 4
Now take a white pipe cleaner and lay it on top of a plain white ear. Use the glue gun to fasten it in a few spots, especially at the top and bottom. Be sure the pipe cleaner will not stick out about the top of the ear, and leave about an inch sticking out of the bottom of the ear.
-
Step 5
Take an ear that has the pink attached to it, and place it over your ear with the pipe cleaner. Be sure to line up the edges before fastening it with glue.
-
Step 6
Attach the pipe cleaner and sandwich the second ear together just as the first.
-
Step 7
Find the center of your white headband, and then position the ears an equal distance to either side of center.
-
Step 8
Bend the inch of pipe cleaner that is sticking out of the ear towards the back (the side of the ear without the pink). Be sure this is a 90 degree angle from the ear, as you will now glue this pipecleaner to the headband so that ear then sticks straight up.
-
Step 9
Attach the second ear in the same manner. Hot glue dries quickly, so you will now be able to wear the bunny ear headband.
