How to Make Great Protein Shakes
Protein helps build muscle, bone, skin and other tissues. Protein shakes commonly are used by athletes immediately after workouts to help replenish their bodies and boost recovery. A great protein shake should contain natural, healthy ingredients. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Whey protein power
- 1 Banana
- 2 tbsp. all-natural peanut butter.
- Crushed or cubed ce
- 1\2 cup water
- Blender

Put the water and a scoop of whey powder into the blender and mix for a few seconds.

Chop up the banana, put it in the blender and mix again.

Add the peanut butter and blend.

Add ice, a little at a time, and mix. Ice adds texture to the protein shake. Continue to add a little ice and blend until you have the consistency of a nice milkshake. Avoid adding so much that you end up with several cups of the mixture, since you will have to drink it all to get the protein into your system.

Drink this shake within an hour after a workout or as a meal supplement.

Tips & Warnings
Use milk if bulking but if you are at all lactose intolerant it will be detrimental to use milk.
Bananas and peanut butter add a lot of flavor and texture to the drink.
feel free to add things like Fish oil, milled flax seed or other fruit to the drink
I absolutely suggest buying only chocolate protein power but if you want there are several flavors such as vanilla and Straw berry.
The drink can be used a supplement to your diet or even a meal replacement in a pinch.
