How to Undelete Recycle Bin

Windows includes a recycle bin to store files before they're completely deleted.

Windows Vista includes a delete option when you right-click the Recycle Bin on your desktop. As a result, it is easy to accidentally delete the Recycle Bin when you meant to empty it. Windows 7 fixed this problem by eliminating the delete option from the Recycle Bin right-click menu. If you deleted the Recycle Bin in Vista, it is not really gone; it's just hiding.

  Click "Personalization" and then "Change desktop icons" in the left pane.

  Check the box next to "Recycle Bin" and click the "OK" button to save your change. You should see the Recycle Bin on your desktop.
