How to Sort Laundry to Protect Your Clothes

There is a method of sorting clothes to make sure colors do not run on to each other.

1. Step One: Sort the light, dark and jeans out of the hamper for the wash. Sort the light patterns clothes with the light solid colors. Sort the dark patterned clothes with the card solid colors. Put the jeans in a separate basket as these heavy fabrics should be washed separately. The light solid, light pattern, dark solid and dark clothes should be paired accordingly.

2. Step Two: Use detergent that has bleach added and fabric softener as not to waste money. Going to the laundry should not look like you are packing for a vacation with the tub full of toiletries. Wash the three sortment of clothes separately to ensure cleanliness.
