How to Use Outlinedepot.com to Get Law School Outlines

Outlines are a great tool for studying throughout the semester and studying for finals. Although every law student should prepare their own outline, having another outline as a supplement to your own outline is a great study tool and advantage.

Outlinedepot.com is a comprehensive database of law school class outlines available for download. You can search for outlines by school, professor, class, and textbook (casebook).

Instructions

1. Register for outlinedepot.com here https://www.outlinedepot.com/signup.aspx

2. Search for outlines by school, professor, class, or textbook (casebook).

3. In order to download an outline you must have 1 credit per outline.

4. You receive credits by either uploading an outlines or purchasing credits.

5. UPLOADING OUTLINES FOR CREDITS
   You get one credit per outline you upload.
   Outlines must be approved by outlinedepot.com before you earn a credit--this may take a day or two.

6. PURCHASING CREDITS
   Credits may be purchased here: https://www.outlinedepot.com/buycredits.aspx
   The rate for credits is:
   1 credit for $9.99
   2 credits for $17.99
   3 credits for $25.99
   4 credits for $32.99.

7. Once you have a credit, download whichever outlines you need for your classes.

Tips & Warnings

• Credits never expire.
• Upload outlines as soon as you have them so that you can ensure having the credits when you need to download an outline.
• Different people approve the outlines, so if an outlines is not approved try resubmitting it. I've had some outlines not approved, re-submitted them, and had them approved.
• It may take a day or two to have outlines approved so if you need an outlines ASAP you may need to purchase credits if you haven't previously uploaded outlines.
• If there are already recent outlines for your specific class, professor, & casebook outlinedepot.com will not approve them. Therefore, it's tough to get first year outlines approved unless you have something new and different to offer. So get your outlines uploaded asap, especially if you have a visiting professor or a unique class.
