Have you ever been cooking or frying something and splashed cooking oil or grease on your clothes? Well, here is a quick remedy that you can use to get that stain out!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

When you notice you have gotten cooking oil or grease on your clothing, take the article of clothing off immediately and put on something else. (The sooner you begin the treatment on the stain, the better the results are)

  2. Step 2

Take the soiled article of clothing and wet it down. Once the clothing is wet, take some dish soap and put a little over the oil stain. Then rub it into the clothing.

  3. Step 3

Now that you have rubbed in the dish soap, fill up your sink with water, and soak for 10 minutes. After soaking ring out the clothing and spray with stain remover.

  4. Step 4

After soaking your clothes and spraying it with stain remover wash them immediately in your washer. Repeat steps 2-4 if necessary.

Tips & Warnings
  • The sooner you act on getting the stain out the better the results are!
  • Make sure you have dish washing soap WITHOUT bleach in it, if you use dish soap with bleach you could ruin your clothes.
  • This is not a guarantee, but it works the majority of the time.
