Instructions

    • 1

Cleanse the back. Attach a small washcloth to a back scratcher using either a rubber band or a hair tie, and lather it up with a soap formulated for sensitive skin types. Wet the back area, and gently lather the back using the back scratcher. This will allow you to be able to clean those hard-to-reach areas of the back. Once you have lathered the skin well, rinse it off with water.

Scrub with baking soda. Pour about 1/4 cup of baking soda onto the washcloth attached to the back scratcher, and add a little water until it turns into a paste. Gently rub the baking soda paste around the back acne for around one to two minutes. Rinse well when you are finished.

Apply an oil-free lotion once the back is dry. This will prevent the back from becoming too dry, which can then cause the pores to overproduce oil in compensation, thereby increasing back acne. Squeeze a quarter-sized amount onto a clean washcloth that is attached to a back scratcher and apply it gently to the back.
