Things You'll Need:
- Your Current Purse
- A Table
-
Step 1
Empty the contents of your purse onto a table. Look at each object that you are carrying. Place each item in a separate place on the table.
-
Step 2
Separate out all of the objects that you haven't used in 6 months. Set those items aside. If this is as far as you want to go, then the items left will be the contents of your "new purse".
-
Step 3
If you want to have a smaller purse, then separate out everything from the six month group that you haven't used in three months. This smaller left over group will now be the contents of your purse.
-
Step 4
If you have courage, try using a one month rule and see what you get for a group of items. The idea of taking items out of your purse that you haven't used in a while is that you will never miss them, once they are gone. So, essentially, you have been living with out them even though you have been carrying them around with you.
-
Step 5
Have you ever seen a woman carrying one of those tiny evening purses at a formal event? Do you wonder how she did it. Here are the essentials.
1. A coin purse with paper money in it.
2. A comb.
3. A small mirror.
4. A Tissue.
5. Maybe, a lipstick.
Do you really need your cell phone? It might fit.
