Step 1
First, recognize that you have a cbz file. Cbz files are files that end with the .cbz or .cbr extension. Cbz files act as compressed archive files for comic books and contain both text and pictures.

Next, try making a copy of the file and renaming the extension from .cbz to .zip. So instead of book.cbr, your cbr file will now be cbr.zip.

Next, use your archive manager to unzip the file. You can do this by either double clicking the file to open the archive manager automatically. You can also right clicking the file and choosing "Open with" and then select your installed archive manager from a list to unzip your cbz file.

If this does not work to open your cbr files, consider a third archive manager software.
