Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Start with the turkey or ham. Decide which, or both, you are going to have. There are several ways to prepare the meat that suits you and your family best. You can bake, smoke, and even deep fry the turkey.

  2. Step 2

Next decide on the side dishes. These are usually your vegetables that just scream Thanksgiving dinner. These include yams, mashed potato, green beans, and any type of casserole.

  3. Step 3

Be sure to prepare the gravy and either stuffing or dressing. This should be done in advance. The recipes are greatly available online.
