Instructions

    • 1

Cut the fake nails down with clippers or toenail scissors to where the points are just a bit longer than your real nails.

    • 2

Pour 100 percent acetone into a regular glass bowl. Do not use plastic; it can eat or chemically melt the plastic.

    • 3

Place your nails into the bowl and soak them for at least 10 minutes.

    • 4

Using a birchwood nail stick, gently pry the nails loose.

    • 5

If the nails don't come off easily, place them back in the bowl of acetone and soak them for another five minutes.

    • 6

Once the nails are off, use a nail buffer to buff the glue residue away.

    • 7

Moisturize your hands after removing the fake nails.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use acetone in a well-ventilated place to reduce fume buildup.
