Instructions

  1. Procedure

    • 1

Sterilize your scissors in boiling water in order to prevent infection. Soak a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol. Rub the cotton ball over the skin tag and surrounding area.

    • 2

Gently pull the skin tag away from your face or other area on the skin where the tag is located.

    • 3

Using your sterile scissors, slice the skin tag at the base. Be very careful not to cut your skin.

    • 4

Quickly apply a cotton ball to the area in order to stop the bleeding. Press hard on the area for a few minutes.

    • 5

Apply a small amount of Neosporin to the area to prevent scarring and infection.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not attempt this if you are unsure of where to cut. You do not want to cut your skin. Again, using sterile products is very important.

  • If you notice excessive bleeding or discharge, call your doctor, you may have an infection.
