How to Configure Spamcop

Spamcop is a service that fights spam in email. Spamcop works by providing a place to report spam you receive. The IP addresses from which the spam originates are added to a spam blocking list that you can use to block unwanted emails. The service is free, but it must be configured properly to work on your mail server.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Register for a reporting account at Spamcop.com. Click "Report Spam" in the top left corner of the homepage.

  2. Step 2

    Register by placing the name or alias of your choice and your email in the spaces provided.

  3. Step 3

    Follow the instructions provided in the email that is sent to you to login to your spam reporting account.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Mailhosts" at the top of the page.

  5. Step 5

    At the bottom of the resulting page, click "Add First Hosts." Follow the on-screen prompts to complete Spamcop configuration.
