How to Join New York's Village Halloween Parade

The country's biggest Halloween celebration takes place in New York City. Every year people gather on the streets of New York City to stare at the amazing costumes, performers and floats. But why settle for a glimpse of the festivities when you can actually be a part of New York's Village Halloween Parade?

Instructions

1. Select an outrageous Halloween costume. New York's Village Halloween Parade is all about shock value. The more shocking your costume, the more you will be noticed.

2. On the afternoon of October 31st, get dressed in your costume and travel to Manhattan.

3. Join the line up. Dressed in your costume, enter the line at 6th Avenue South of Spring Street and North of Canal. You must be at this location between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m

4. Tell your friends and family to watch you live on TV. The parade will be broadcast live on NY 1 Television from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

• If you do not wear a costume, you will not be able to join the parade.
