How to set up the Samsung Blackjack II for Bluetooth.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Samsung Blackjack II Smartphone
  • Bluetooth 2.0 compatible headset
  1. Step 1
Start Menu on the Samsung Blackjack II
Start Menu on the Samsung Blackjack II

Turn your Blackjack II on. If your battery is low make sure you have your cell phone plugged in. Go to the start menu. This is one of the buttons directly on the left of the scroll wheel. The start menu button is the one on the top left and right below your Blackjack II screen.

  2. Step 2
Settings Menu on Samsung Blackjack II
Settings Menu on Samsung Blackjack II

Go to the Settings menu. There will be lettered settings from A to G. Scroll down to "G More...". The next screen will show more lettered settings from A to G. Select "A Connections". The next will have lettered settings also. Scroll down to select "C Bluetooth". Again, more lettered settings. This time, there is only A through D. Select
"A Bluetooth". Next screen says "Add new device...". Press the button on the middle of the Blackjack II scroll wheel to add the new device.

  3. Step 3
Screen showing your Blackjack II has found the Samsung WEP 200

Whatever device you are pairing it with make sure it is on. For example if you are pairing your Samsung Blackjack II with the Samsung WEP 200, make sure the Samsung WEP 200 is turned on. If it is not, your Blackjack II will not be able to locate it in order to pair with the Bluetooth headset. Once your Samsung Blackjack II locates the WEP 200 it will ask you if you would like to add it to your device list. Select yes and enter a passcode to establish a secure connection with the WEP 200. 0000 (four zeros) will work upon initial setup. You can change to a more secure passcode later.

Tips & Warnings
  • My picture shows the Start Menu in Grid style. If you have your Samsung Blackjack II to display the Start Menu in List style, the image will differ. You can easily change any display settings by going to Start, Settings, Display and choose either Home Screen or Start Menu Style, whichever one you would like to change the display of.
  • Avoid driving even with hands free devices. Although your hands are not occupied, your ears are. This could result in an automobile accident. It is always best to be 100% focused on your driving. Save the hands free for moments when you are not driving such as at the supermarket or your morning walk.
