We all are jealous at times. Whether it's because we're worried about our boyfriend leaving on a business trip or a friend is bragging about a fancy new dress or a great vacation. There are tips that can help to keep your jealous feelings under wraps. Read on to learn how to control your jealousy.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Phone a friend and talk to them about your jealous feelings.

Thinking about spying on your boyfriend and following him on that business trip? Not a good idea. Talk to a close friend. Talking about your jealousy will help to put it into perspective and you'll prevent yourself from doing anything impulsive that you might later regret.

  2. Step 2

    Redirect the conversation.

If a friend won't stop talking about a new dress that she bought, listen for a few minutes. Then change the subject.

  3. Step 3

Remember what you do have and what you have to be thankful for. If that doesn't work, think about what you have that might make your friends jealous of you.
