Things You'll Need:
- Computer Keyboards
- Computer Mice
- Modems
- Internet Access
- Web Browsers
-
Step 1
The easiest way to go to a recently viewed page is to click the Back button on your browser. This takes you back to the most recently viewed page. You can click Back again to go back further. Click Forward to go through the pages in the same order you viewed them.
-
Step 2
In Internet Explorer 5, you can use the Go To command in the View menu to display a list of the pages you've visited since you opened your browser. Click a page to go to it. In Netscape Navigator, use the Go menu instead.
-
Step 3
Another way is to click the down arrow to the right of the address in your browser. The menu that appears contains Web pages for which you've actually typed in the address (you haven't followed a link or bookmark to get there). Click on the address of the site you want to go back to from the menu that comes down.
-
Step 4
A final way is to use the History feature in Internet Explorer. This shows all the pages you've been to during the past day, week and month. Click History on the toolbar. In the list that appears on the left of your browser, either click on a site in the list or click a folder (such as Two Weeks Ago) to see the sites listed there. To close the History, click the X in the corner.
