How to Make 'orange Juice' Chicken

Another quick marinate for chicken -this time using orange juice! Simple,tasty and effective

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • chicken breasts, 1 jug of orange juice ( your choice),baking pan,oven,tin foil,spray olive oil,all spice herbs,freezer bags
  1. Step 1

    Clean chicken, and trim excess fat. Next, place chicken in freezer bags(as much as you need for the amount that you would like to cook). Then, fill freezer bags and chicken with orange juice. Set bags in refridgerator for 2 hours. If you want a deeper marinade, leave bags in 'fridge longer.

  2. Step 2

    Prepare oven by pre-heating to 390 degrees. Next, place a sheet of tin foil on baking pan, and spray foil with olive oil. Wrap edges of foil tightly around baking pan. Next, remove freezer bags from 'fridge, and remove chicken from bags. Place chicken on baking pan(or pans, if you want to cook alot of chicken). Spread some all spice herbs, or any multi-mix of herbs on top of chicken.

  3. Step 3

    Place pans with chicken in oven, and cook for 30 minutes(or less)at 390
    degrees. The orange juice should give a nice glazing to the chicken as it cooks. rarely, the chicken might need to go over the 30 minute mark in cooking, so I would check them at the 25 minute mark to see if that needs to happen.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also add spice cinnamon, or brown sugar,before cooking. the brown sugar will add to the glazing effect, especially if it dissolves into the orange juice.
  • Always wash your hands after handling raw chicken between steps!
