How to Clean Off Chewing Gum

Chewing gum can be one of the most difficult things to remove once it has been stuck to something. Its very irritating when chewing gum gets stuck in or on places that you never want it. Gum is extremely sticky and can be very difficult to remove from any surface. In this article you will learn some tips on how to remove gum from unwanted places.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Baby Oil
  • Hot water
  • Oxyclean
  • WD-40
  1. Step 1

    So you have some chewing gum stuck in your hair, furniture, or carpet. First grad some baby oil. This will absorb the gum from almost any surface it is stuck to. Massage the baby oil into the gum and the gum should dissolve or let go within a few minutes.

  2. Step 2

    If you happen to get some bubble gum stuck to a piece of clothing. Soak the area with the gum in a solution of hot water and 3 scoops of Oxyclean for about a half hour, this should completely dissolve the gum.

  3. Step 3

    One last trick to removing gum is take some WD-40 spray it on a towel and wipe the gum until is gives free.
