Things You'll Need:
- graham cracker pie crust
- graham cracker crumbs
- 2 packages chocolate instant pudding
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 tub of cool whip regular or light
- shaved chocolate

Step 1
The first step in making a great pie is to make a graham cracker crust with graham cracker crumbs and butter or buy a graham cracker crust from the store. Either way the crust will be delicious and add a special flavor to your chocolate pie. If you would like to use a regular crust that would be fine and I would recommend a Pillsbury pie dough but for me when it comes to making chocolate pie I really like the graham cracker crust. If you do want to make your own crust using graham cracker crumbs it is so easy. All you have to do is mix your butter and the crumbs together to make a pie crust and place it in your pie plate.

Step 2
To make your pie filling you will need a mixer. Begin with two packages of chocolate instant pudding (any brand) Pour 2 cups of cold milk into the mix. Put your mixer on the medium setting and mix for 2 minutes. The chocolate mixture will be thick and creamy.

Pour your chocolate mixture into your graham cracker crust and let sit for a few minutes. The next step is to cover the top of your pie with cool whip. It is not necessary but I do like to put a few pieces of shaved chocolate on the top of the cool whip. It makes a beautiful presentation and tastes so good. Enjoy!
