Christmas is a favorite holiday for many. To celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with family and friends and exchange gifts. When I was younger I could not wait until a couple months before Christmas decorate the inside and outside of the house. My mother also use to make a countdown to Christmas craft with us and below I will explain how to make a countdown to Christmas craft to ad with the other ways you decorate for Christmas.

The craft supplies you need are Christmas colored construction paper, clear tape, crayons if you want to draw and scizzers.To start out you get 4 or 5 sheets of different colored construction paper. Get your scizzors.Then cut 1 inch strips from each colored sheet width wise.

After you have cut all the strips of the different colors. Decide on which color you want to start out with. fold it and tape each end together and this strip makes a ring. Then get another color strip, put one end of this strip through the first strip and then tape each end together. Then get another color strip and do the same and so on. Keep on doing this until you countdown to Christmas day or Christmas eve.

When finished with the craft you can hang or drape it over something or on the Christmas tree, so you can cut a ring off for the next day until Christmas time. You can start making this craft about a month and a half before Christmas time. This is a good craft to do with your kids nearing Christmas.
