Things You'll Need:
- floppy disk
-
Step 1
Make sure your floppy disk is ready to be formatted. Do this by making sure the tab in the top corner is closed. so you can not see through it, otherwise close the tab.
-
Step 2
Insert the disk into your computer and locate the drive by going to your my computer icon located on the start tab. Now right click on the appropriate drive letter containing your floppy disk, by default this will almost always be drive A.
-
Step 3
After you right click on the drive choose the format option. After you choose format you will see another window appear with a few options. choose the one that says create windows boot disk and then click format. there you go as soon as it is finished formatting you will now have a working windows boot disk. Best of luck.
