How to Make a Michael Jackson Halloween Costume

You're definitely going to need a fedora.

A Michael Jackson outfit is simple to put together and makes a great Halloween costume for an adult or child. A second person can enhance this costume concept by dressing as a doctor, a monkey or a photographer.

Things You'll Need

• Tight black pants
• Fedora
• Black yarn
• White undershirt
• Black or red long-sleeved shirt
• Left-handed white glove

Instructions

1. Wear tight fitting black pants that are too short, or pants that can be rolled up; leather pants will work great for this. Wear tall white socks with black patent leather shoes and white undershirt with a red or black long-sleeved shirt on top, left open. Wear large black aviator sunglasses.

2. Attach strands of black yarn on the inside brim of a black fedora around the sides and back to simulate Michael's hairstyle from the 80s.

3. Wear one white glove on your left hand. A sequined glove is optimal; you can purchase one or attach the sequins to a white cotton glove yourself. However, any white glove will do.

4. Carry a large stuffed monkey (Bubbles) or walk with a little boy. For additional accessories, see the tips section listed below.
