Here is another variation of the classic ham and eggs breakfast. Fast and easy to make, its a hearty breakfast in a delicious grilled sandwich. Stack the ingredients as high as you like and enjoy yourself. The only hard thing about it is keeping the sandwich together if you stack it too high!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Egg
  • Ham
  • Cheese
  • Frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Butter
  • Hamburger bun
  • Cook Stove
  1. Step 1
Put the skillet on the stove.

Place the frying pan on top of the stove.

  2. Step 2

Spray the frying pan with non-stick cooking spray. I love this stuff! It does a fantastic job of keeping your food from sticking and it makes cleanup a breeze.

  3. Step 3

Turn the stove's burner on to medium low heat. If the eggs are cooked over too high of heat they burn and get rubbery.

  4. Step 4

Crack the eggs into the pan. Use as many as you want per sandwich. I used three eggs in the pictured sandwich.

  5. Step 5

Break the yolk of the eggs. This helps flatten the sandwich out somewhat. If you don't break them you get little humps in your eggs.

  6. Step 6

Place hamburger bun on a plate.

  7. Step 7

Place the ham on the bottom of the hamburger bun. Use as much ham as you want for each sandwich.

  8. Step 8

    Turn the eggs.

  9. Step 9

Place the plate with the hamburger bun and ham in the microwave oven.

  10. Step 10

Turn the microwave on for 15 to 20 seconds. This heats the bun and ham making it easier to melt the cheese.

  11. Step 11

Take the plate, with the hamburger bun and ham on it, out of the oven.

  12. Step 12

Butter the outside, both top and bottom, of the hamburger bun. For a low fat substitute for buttering the bun, spray with butter flavored cooking spray.

  13. Step 13

Get your cheese ready to place on your sandwich. I use the sliced individually wrapped American cheese. Use as much cheese as you want. Any other kind of cheese can be substituted for the American.

  14. Step 14

Remove the eggs from the frying pan, assembling the sandwich as you go. Put the layers of ham egg and cheese in any order that you desire.

  15. Step 15

Place sandwich in the frying pan and brown both top and bottom.

  16. Step 16

Once both sides of the sandwich are golden brown, place on a plate and serve.
