If you have an old picture frame, that no longer looks it's best, you can refurbish it. You just need to be a little creative. I know a lot of people believe they are not creative, but I believe we all have it in us.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    You should first get your items together:

    * Picture frame (Wood works best)
    * Craft glue (your choice of color)
    * Hot glue gun
    * Buttons (from around your home, or bought from the store. Your choice of colors)
    * Clear enamel

  2. Step 2

    Take your picture frame, paint it with the Craft glue. It comes in many different colors, so pick one that suites you.

  3. Step 3

    Once this coat dries, you will then paint it with the craft glue a second time. This will give you two nice coats, that will last.

  4. Step 4

    Once your second coat dries, you will then hot glue your buttons. Before making them a permanent part of the frame, lay them out to determine the locations you want them. You can pick any buttons. Use some from your home, or buy the colors you like at your local retail store. Glue one on at a time, and be careful, the glue is hot.

  5. Step 5

    Spray it with a clear enamel. This will provide a great shiny appearance.

    You now have a frame that you made. It is something that you spent your time completing, and you designed it. It is a very simple process, but can be very fun. It is also something great for any room in your home.
