How to Remove an Admin Password in Windows Vista
An administrator (admin) in Windows Vista has privileges to add, modify or remove any programs or files as well as execute any system commands. A password is not obligatory for the administrator account and can be disabling, for instance, during software or hardware testing with frequent computer reboots. However, leaving your administrator account without a password for 24 hours or more may compromise the security of your Windows Vista computer.
