How to Twist a Balloon Into a Heart Shape
Making balloon creations is an art and amusing to watch at the same time. It requires a lot of time and practice to make things perfect. Balloon hearts are popular to create because they're fairly simple and are a sweet symbol of love that can be attached to a gift, included in a bouquet or just given to that special someone as a way of saying, "I love you."

1
Get a long, sturdy balloon made for using with balloon creations. A regular balloon won't work as it is made to blow up into a circular or oval shape. You need one that blows into a straight line like a hot dog.

2
Fill the balloon with air but leave 1 inch uninflated. Pinch off the end and tie into a single knot to secure and lock in the air.

3
Find the center of the balloon and make a z-bend. To do this take the balloon section in your fist, fold it over and squeeze the air out. Hold for a moment. Then pull the balloon out of your fist. The bend should remain; if not, then repeat until it does.

Take the two ends of the balloon and tie them together in a double knot. This should bring the ends down so the z-bend forms the indent in the center of the heart and sides are curved. You now have your heart-shaped balloon.
