1
Set the mold on a sturdy, flat surface that can handle high temperatures. Spray some non-stick cooking spray on the mold cavities.
-
2
Pour the liquid plastic into your glass measuring cup. Put the measuring cup in the microwave and heat it on high until all of the plastic is melted and easy to pour.
-
-
3
Stir in small amounts of the coloring and glitter until the mix suits your preference. Place the mixture back in the microwave and heat on high for 30 seconds.
-
4
Pour the plastic mix into the molds, beginning at one end of the cavity and moving slowly and uniformly to the other end. This slow, uniform motion will prevent air bubbles. Fill the mold cavity completely full. Allow the plastic in the molds to cool completely.
-
5
Remove the worms from the mold and place carefully on a paper towel. Place them on the towel in the same shape as you want the finished worm. Let it cool overnight.
-
6
The next day, trim off any excess plastic with a sharp pair of scissors, and your floating worms are ready to fish.

Tips & Warnings
Do not put metal glitter in the mixture. This will cause damage to your microwave. When microwaving the liquid plastic, check it frequently as overheating will cause the mixture to smoke.
