How to Make Photo Tile Drink Coasters

You can easily make drink coasters from old cork coasters in your home and your favorite photos. This is a great project to get kids involved in as well, and they can personalize their coasters with a drawing or coloring of their choosing.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Set of old cork coasters
• Photos or drawings
• Adhesive glue
• Mod Podge matte sealant glue
• Sponge brush
• Clear acrylic sealant

1. Cut your photos or drawings to the shape of the coaster.

2. Glue them to the top of the coaster with your adhesive glue.

3. Apply two or three layers of the Mod Podge matte sealant glue to the top of the coaster with the sponge brush. Wait for each layer to dry before applying another, and only apply it to the top and sides, not on the cork bottom.

4. Apply the acrylic sealant over the top and sides of each coaster.

5. Let each unit dry for at least two hours before using them as coasters.
