Instructions

    • 1

Find a place on your fabric that is not noticeable, like the underside of the hem on clothing, the back of a piece of furniture, or a hidden corner of carpet.

    • 2

Put a small amount of spot cleaner on the fabric. Rub it in.

    • 3

Use a damp rag to remove any residue left by the cleaner. Allow the fabric to dry completely.

    • 4

Inspect the fabric. If you cannot see where you put the cleaner and there is no discoloration in the fabric, then the fabric is colorfast.

    • 5

If the fabric is colorfast, you can proceed with cleaning the stain. If not, consult a dry cleaner.
