How to Remove a Tattoo With TCA
Tattoos are typically a permanent marking on your body. This can be bad news if you regret your tattoo (whether it was a spur of the moment or for a forgotten love). Laser removal can be used to remove the tattoo but can cost ten times what you paid for the tattoo. Instead, you may want to try out Nuviderm TCA. TCA is an over-the-counter ointment you can use to gradually remove the tattoo. This is the same product doctors and other health agencies use to remove wrinkles and acne scars via chemical burn. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Cover your tattoo with the Nuviderm TCA liquid and allow it to sit for 5 to 8 minutes. You will feel a slight stinging sensation while the liquid is on your skin.
-
2
Remove the TCA liquid from the tattoo with a damp cloth.

3
Wait about 2 weeks; the skin around and over the tattoo will begin to peel. This process will take about another full week to finish peeling.
-
4
Wait at least another 2 weeks before reapplying the TCA liquid. There should be at least 4 weeks in between skin peels; 6 weeks is better.

5
Repeat this process until the tattoo has been completely peeled away. It will take several applications and several months before this will occur.

Tips & Warnings
Even after several uses, you may not be able to completely remove the look of the tattoo (although it will be much lighter). If this is the case, using laser surgery on the tattoo will now be around 60 percent cheaper because of the tattoo fading.

Um... wanna explain what happens between the time of the application and the "2 weeks later" when it peels? Maybe how to care for it? After you put the Nuviderm on, it's not just magic. It's a burn, after all...
