If you wondered how to let someone see a web page that you wanted them to know about but didn't know how to link the web page address (http://etc.) then here are nine easy tutorials to follow to enable you to send a web page address for someone to click and see.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Your computer, your computer mouse, Internet connection, web page you want to link.
  1. Step 1

To link a web page to your e-mail, a website forum reply or a website page comment, you should have two Internet connections, one with your e-mail, website forum reply web page, or a website comment reply web page on screen and the other with the web page you wish to link, minimized. This just makes it easier than back and forth to web pages on the same connection. Now, click (press down) on the Internet minimized connection to bring up on the screen the web page you want to link and follow the next nine tutorials.

  2. Step 2

    1) Look to the top left of your computer screen and see the URL (the
    http://section).

    2) Place your mouse cursor (arrow) at the end or right side of the actual web address (the http://section).

    3) Click (press down) on the left side button once and a blue highlight will now be through the entire URL.

    4) Click (press down) on the right side button once while on the highlighted URL to get a list of things you can do.

    5) Look for "copy" and put your mouse cursor (arrow) on "copy" and click (press down) on the left side button once. The list should now disappear.

  3. Step 3

    6) Now minimize the web page you just "copied" and on screen should be the other Internet connection to show your e-mail page, a website forum reply, or a website comment reply web page.

    7) Place your mouse cursor arrow at the end of the last words you wrote before you add the web page, usually words like "see web page:"

    8) Now click (press down) on the right side button to get the list of things to do.

    9) Look for "paste" and put your mouse cursor (arrow) on "paste" and click (press down) on the left side button once. The list should disappear and your link should be posted.

Now you know how to link a web page to your e-mails, website forum replies, or to website comment replies using your computer mouse.
