Frozen drinks can be very refreshing in the warmer months, but they can be difficult to make perfectly. Sometimes they turn out runny, other times they are too thick... Learn how you can make a perfect frozen drink each and every time with ease (and with very little practice).

On a nice hot day, kick back and enjoy a tall cool one. These frozen drinks can be alcoholic or virgin (non-alcoholic).

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ice
  • Standard blender
  • Drink ingredients
  1. Step 1

Find a nice tall glass you'd like to use to drink your frozen concoction out of, and fill it with ice to the very top.

  2. Step 2

Pour the ice from the cup into the standard blender.

  3. Step 3

In a separate cup or shaker, mix the drink ingredients you'd like to use.

For example, if making a frozen Toasted Almond, you will mix amaretto, coffee liqueur, and milk in that separate cup or mixing glass.

  4. Step 4

Pour the mixed drink ingredients into the blender...

***POUR ENOUGH TO JUST COVER THE ICE!

  5. Step 5

Pulse/blend for about 15-30 seconds or until you have a nice consistency and all the ice is broken up good.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you like your drinks a bit thicker, add a few more ice cubes and pulse for another 15 seconds.
  • If you like yours a little thinner, simply add a small amount more of the drink ingredients and pulse for about 20 seconds more.
