How to Burn AVI to CD
AVI is a media file format that contains synchronized video and audio data. AVI files are to be written on a regular CD in the video CD (VCD) format. VCD encodes and compresses the video/sound data using the MPEG-1 standard. A video CD may hold up to 74 minutes of a movie with sound, and is playable on any DVD or VCD player. A Nero software suite allows to write AVI files in the VCD format and also adds a simple menu to the disc. The menu helps to manage the VCD playback.
