Pandora, an Internet radio station, creates stations based on your feedback. With Pandora, you can personalize your listening experience to create an affordable collection of your musical tastes. Pandora has the uncanny knack of knowing exactly what song you will like based on the station you create. Additionally, for $36 per year, you can download a desktop application of Pandora that allows you to listen to music without advertising.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Open your Internet browser. Enter the URL www.pandora.com and sign up for a free account.

  2. Step 2

Login to Pandora with your user name and password. Create your first radio station. Pandora allows you to create radio stations based on your favorite artists.

  3. Step 3

Click "create radio station" and type in your favorite artist. For example, if you type the artist Depeche Mode, Pandora will create a radio station that plays artists that are similar to Depeche Mode.

  4. Step 4

Choose thumbs up or thumbs down if you like the song Pandora picks. If you choose thumbs down, Pandora takes you the next song similar to the artist you picked. As you continue to choose thumbs up and thumbs down, you will personalize the radio station to your likes and dislikes.

  5. Step 5

Create additional radio stations using Pandora until you have radio stations of all different artists. Pandora's service is free and will save you money if you choose to embrace Internet radio.
