My DIY Guest Book

Having a season-themed wedding but don't want to spend $30 on a "themed" guest book? Don't! Do it Yourself, it's fun and easy and it's custom-made!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A cheap guest book or book with lines
  • Brown paper or tissue paper
  • Accessories (fall-leaves, winter-snowflakes,summer-shells, spring-flowers)
  • Hot glue gun
  • Scissors
  1. Step 1

Get a cheap guest book or any other book with lined paper.
Get some brown paper or tissue paper, depending on which season or theme you are doing - I'll show you how to do a Rustic/fall themed book

  2. Step 2

Lay the book out on a clean smooth table surface and on top of the paper. Using the scissors, cut the paper to fit the book. Make sure that you leave enough so that when you close the book, it doesn't rip!

  3. Step 3

Once you've got it cut to fit with a little extra, put hot glue on the inside lip of the book. Put the paper on that glue and shut the book. Flip it over and repeat.

Closing the book makes sure that the paper isn't too tight to allow the book to close later.

  4. Step 4

Once it has dried. Use your accessories and hot glue them however you like.
    I used fall leaves

Tips & Warnings
  • Lay it out the way you want it first.
  • Get all your supplies together, its easier
  • Hot Glue is just that - Hot
