Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Step One: You can also use the how to hem a skirt procedure to redo an undone seam in a pair of pants. Fold the hem of the skirt and use a straight pin to make sure that the hem is even all the way around.

  2. Step 2

Step Two: Use a needle with the thread the dominant color of the skirt. Nip the threaded needle through and over the inside of the hem picking up one thread of the fabric before starting the process over again. Work from the inside of the fabric skirt of pants. The process should be to fold the fabric where you want it hemmed using straight pins. Put the needle into the upper part of the cut folded fabric and run it through the other side of the fabric across from the fold nipping a thread and then carrying the needle back to the top of the folded hem and attaching a thread from the opposite side of the folded fabric nipple through a thread of the material.

  3. Step 3

Step Three: Remove the straight pin after you have entered the needle into the top of the fold to the length of the skirt or pants. Gently press the hemmed skirt or pants upon completion for a professionally hemmed look to your skirt or pair of pants.
