How to Produce More Natural HGH
Human growth hormone (HGH) is a protein produced by the pituitary gland. HGH is misused by many in an attempt to harness the anabolic and lipolytic properties of this powerful hormone. HGH is prescribed to treat hormone deficiencies. However, individuals also can use secretagogues to help produce more natural HGH. Secretagogues are substances that help secrete another substance, in this case HGH. L-Dopa is a supplement made from the herb Mucuna pruriens. L-arginine is an amino acid found within your body. Both are secretagogues and have been researched in the use of HGH production. Contact your health care provider before you start any supplement regimen.

Increase Natural HGH
-
1
Measure 5 to 7 g of arginine and mix with a beverage. Arginine can be bought at any health or nutrition store. Research has shown that arginine, a secretagogue, inhibits endogenous somatostatin secretion. Somatostain is also know as growth hormone inhibiting hormone. By limiting somatostain more growth hormone can be present.
-
2
Take a capsule containing 500 mg of L-Dopa actives. Mucuna pruriens is an herb that contains L-Dopa. You can buy Mucuna pruriens over-the-counter like any other herb. L-Dopa is synthesized by the amino acids L-Phenylalanine and L-Tryrosine. This acts as a secretagogue to help promote HGH in clinical studies. L-Dopa is currently used to treat Parkinson's disease as well.

3
Consume the arginine beverage with the L-Dopa before bedtime. L-Dopa and arginine have been reported to increase HGH. Scientific research concludes that both arginine and L-Dopa act as secretagogues that naturally produce more HGH. These two supplements are safe, but there is limited information on possible toxicity levels at high doses so consult your doctor before any supplementation.

Tips & Warnings
Arginine can be bought in bulk powder form and is tasteless. L-Dopa is usually sold under Mucuna pruriens; look for 15 percent active L-Dopa. Try adding equal parts arginine and glutamine or lysine. This has been reported to increase HGH.
