1
Choose a type of lollipop for the center of the flower. It is advisable to choose a lollipop that is a flat circle, but a round, ball shaped lollipop will create a different flower design. Select lollipops that have a clear wrapper so the color of the candy can be part of the flower design.

2
Using construction paper, cut multiple petals for your flowers. Choose one color, or create a multi-colored flower. Vary the petals slightly in shape and size for a layered effect. Keep in mind the shape and color of your lollipops when creating the petals.

Using a craft glue, glue the petals onto the lollipop. Start at the edge of the lollipop and glue the petals around in a circle. Create another layer of petals overlapping the petals already affixed to the lollipop. Continue with this process until the desired look for the flower is completed.

Bend the petals slightly in the middle in order to create some depth and dimension to the flowers. Another option would be to slightly curl the petals with an open pair of scissors. Curl the petals in multiple directions to create a thicker flower.

Tips & Warnings
Create a variation using plain white paper - allow the children to color the petals once the flower is complete.
Make sure the wrapper on the lollipop fully covers the candy - do not eat if any glue goes through the wrapper onto the candy.
