How to Make Your Very Own Scented Bath Crystals
Bath crystals, also know as bath salts, are a relaxing, fragrant addition to a tub of warm, steamy water. Bath salts contain magnesium sulfate, used as a muscle relaxer and toxin extractor. Bath salts are usually scented with essential oils, such as lavender or peppermint, for added therapeutic benefits. Buying bath salts at the spa or grocery store can be pricey. If you have some coarse salt and the essential oil of your choice on hand, you can make your very own scented bath crystals that work just as well as the expensive, professional brands. Does this Spark an idea?

Add five to 20 drops of essential oil, depending on how fragrant you want the bath salts to be. If you are using just one type of essential oil, use 15 to 20 drops of it. For blends of two or more oils, use 10 to 15 drops of the main oil, and five drops of the secondary oil.
