How to Treat Toothaches Using Herbal Home Remedies

Toothache, or odontalgia, is severe pain in a particular tooth and the area surrounding it. 3. Make a paste from equal parts of asafetida and limejuice. Apply this paste to the painful tooth as needed. This is another herbal remedy that is believed to relieve toothache.

4. Crush a clove of garlic and place the crushed garlic onto the affected tooth. Garlic is another effective herb for temporary relief of the pain of toothache.

5. Position a slice of the citrus fruit lime on the afflicted tooth, which can reduce the pain. Lime has many other benefits for dental care.
