How to Save Cookie Dough and Freeze for Later Use

You can mix all the required ingredients for cookie dough and freeze it for later use (even for single servings) Place cookie dough in drop size pieces on parchment paper cut into 9 x 13 sheets. Place inside of a freeze-proof container. Remove the desired amount of cookies and thaw. Cookie per directions for recipe. This is great for cookie dough purchased from school fundraisers or for single parent or small families. I think Chocolate Chip or Oatmeal Raisen cookies freeze the best and are easy to mix together.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Prepare cookie dough per recipe (do not bake)
    place single servings on parchment paper
    make sure the parchment paper will fit neatly into your freezer container
    place parchment paper into freezer container
    place a date on your container for reference
    place container into your freezer

  2. Step 2

    place single servings on parchment paper that has already been cut to the appropriate size for your freezer container

  3. Step 3

    place parchment paper into freezer container one layer at a time - it's okay to stack them up to 10 high per container
