Make Fall Harvest Party Favors for Adults

Send your Fall Harvest party guests home with a cute, meaningful, and useful party favor. Make one of these for each of your adult guests and place them in a fun basket by the door. As each guest leaves the party, they can pick one up on their way out, and have something nice to end the party with. These are perfect for anyone who cooks or bakes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 slotted spoon per guest (any size, color, and type)
  • Snack size (found in Halloween candy) Good & Plenty candy, 1 per guest
  • cellophane treat bags, fall decorated or clear
  • fall colored ribbon, yarn or string (twine)
  • scissors
  • card stock or small note cards, cut into 2 x 3 inch pieces
  • one-hole hole punch
  • marker or pen
  1. Step 1

Once you have the supplies you need, you can open the bag of candy and start assembling your party favor.

Slotted spoons are sold at many dollar stores. Shop at thrift stores and clearance aisles early to save money.

  2. Step 2

Place one individual, snack size, bag of Good & Plenty or Good & Fruity onto the slotted part of the spoon.

Optional: Attach the candy bag with a piece of scotch tape.
Optional: Fill a small bag with bulk candy in place of snack size candy.

  3. Step 3

With your pen or marker, write the following saying onto your cut piece of card stock or note card. Punch a hole in one top corner with the one-hole hole punch. Slide onto your ribbon or string if it is thin enough to go through the hole, if not attach with tape or tie on with thin string.

    Note card saying:

Let life's worries fall through the slots. I hope (or use the word "pray") that you have Plenty of Good days.

-or use Good & Fruity with the following saying:

Let life's worries fall through the slots. I hope (or use the word "pray") that your days are Good and Fruitful.

    Sign the card by hand.

  4. Step 4

Slide your spoon into your treat bags. If preferred, cut the top half of the treat bag off.

Tie the bag with a cut piece of ribbon, string, twine, or thin cut strips of fall colored material.

  5. Step 5

    Other ideas for these treats:

    1. Surprise a friend by leaving one on their door knob.
    2. Give to teachers.
    3. Give to a friend that has been worrying about something.
    4. Send one to your kids in college.
    5. Give one to a friend going through a rough time or illness.

Tips & Warnings
  • Look for inexpensive twine and treat bags at local dollar stores
