  • 3 tsp. water
  • Disposable rags

Instructions

      Mix 1 tsp. of bleach with 3 tsp. of water in a bowl. The ratio of bleach to water should be 1:3. Pour the mixture into a small spray bottle.

      Put on a mask, goggles, and rubber gloves as well as old clothing.

      Spray the bleach mixture on the mold. Let the solution sit on the mold for about 30 seconds, then wipe the mold off the wall using a towel. You can use an old rag that can be thrown away after use or a paper towel. Dispose of the towel immediately after using it.

      Apply warm water to another towel and wipe the newly clean area, then spray the bleach solution on the wall again, and let it sit for 15 minutes. Wipe the area again with warm water on a clean towel. Dispose of the towel immediately after use.

      Clean the wall area with a HEPA vacuum after the wall has dried to remove all remaining mold spores. Dispose of the HEPA vacuum bag immediately after you are done vacuuming. You do not want mold spores left in the area that can regrow mold or cause an allergic reaction to someone in your house.
