How to Make Unusual Christmas Gift Tags

Using only a few craft supplies and a little imagination, you can create a personalized gift tag that is as unique as the person receiving the gift. This craft will allow you to create unusual gift tags using photo identification.

Things You'll Need

• Scrapbook paper
• Card stock
• Scrapbook embellishments
• Zig-zag scissors
• Glue stick
• Fine-point markers
• Photo
• Photo scanner and printer

Instructions

1. Take a close-up photo of each person for whom you will create gift tags.

2. Reduce the size of each photo to "stamp", "sticker", or "index" size and print them out.

3. Using the zig-zag scissors, cut out strips of scrapbook paper. Strips should be at least 2 by 4 inches.

4. Use scrap paper and embellishments to decorate around the photo.

5. Leave a small space near the bottom of the tag in effort to indicate who the gift is from. Use a fine-point marker to write on the tag.

Tips & Warnings

• If heavy embellishments are added to the gift tag, support the weight by gluing a piece of card stock to the bottom of the tag.
